Whole30, Day 26

I didn't have a new recipe to include in today's post title! Gasp. We actually repeated a recent favorite dinner, enjoying a spread of fried chicken and salad. I also polished off the last of my frozen apple muffins, so clearly I need to make a couple of things to have on hand in a pinch...



Today's menu:
breakfast: half Everyday Paleo apple muffin with almond butter
lunch: smoothie (baby spinach, coconut milk, 1/2 avocado, 2 chunks frozen banana, ground flax)
snack: handful of raspberries, couple slices of turkey bologna, handful of raw macadamia pieces
dinner: fried chicken over salad of greens, cucumber, tomato, red pepper and carrot

One thing I haven't continually posted during my Whole30 has been what I drink during the day. I've always been a huge water drinker, so that has remained constant. I do still have 1-2 cups of caffeinated coffee a day, done up with a little coconut milk and cinnamon sprinkled on top. Most evenings I enjoy a kombucha, and I've occasionally made some iced green tea which I prep with some lemon slices floating in the pitcher.
