Steak Salad w Cilantro-Lime Dressing

Tonight's dinner is probably more suitable for the summer months, but at 50 degrees here it was unseasonably warm, so why not?

I made a big salad bed of romaine, spinach, shallots, green onion, mango, red pepper and avocado. The caveman grilled some delicious strip steaks to slice on top and then I drizzled this amazing dressing on top:

Cilantro-Lime Dressing

1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
2 garlic cloves
2 tbs. balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup raw honey
1/2 tsp. minced ginger
juice of one lime
large bunch of cilantro leaves
salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup olive oil

Combine all ingredients but olive oil in a good processor. With machine running, slowly pour in olive oil till thoroughly blended. Taste for seasoning.
